This privacy notice provides information on how Blossom collects and processes your personal data when you register for our classes or summer camp, visit and use our website, sign up for our emails and/or purchase our products or services.

Blossom Yoga respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

Blossom Yoga is the controller and responsible for your personal data. We have appointed a data privacy manager. If you have any questions about this privacy notice or our data protection practices please contact the data privacy manager.

2. The data we collect about you

We may collect, use and store different kinds of personal data about you, your child/ren and/or teenager/s as follows:

Identity Data which includes: first name, last name, date of birth and gender. • Contact Data which includes: postal address, email address and telephone numbers.
Financial Data which includes bank account and payment card details.
Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.
Usage Data includes information about how you use our website, products and services.
Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences.

We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you or your child/ren or teenagers except:

• information about your / their health that you chose to provide and give your consent for us to hold. The purpose of obtaining and holding this data is to ensure your child’s / children’s / teenager’s safety during our classes, to determine suitability for our service and to enable us to tailor our service accordingly if necessary; and
• DBS checks in respect of our prospective licensed teachers in order for them to be able to teach children / teenagers.

We use different methods to collect data from and about you including through:

Direct interactions. You may give us your and/or your child’s, children’s, teenager’s Identity, and Contact Data by filling in our registration form or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email or otherwise. This includes personal data you provide when you apply and/or register for our products or services, create an account on our website, subscribe to our service or publications, request marketing to be sent to you, or contact us.
Automated technologies or interactions. As you interact with our website, we will automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. We collect this personal data by using cookies and other similar technologies.
Third parties. We will receive personal data about you including Technical Data from analytics providers such as Google.

3. How we use your personal data

We will only use your personal data for the purpose for which we collected it which include the following:

• To register you / your child/ren / teenagers for our classes.
• To register you for our teacher training course.
• To determine suitability for our services and/or products.
• To process and deliver your order for our products.
• To provide our service to you (your child/ren / teenager/s).
• To manage your relationship with us.
• To improve our website, products/services, marketing or customer relationships.
• To recommend products or services which may be of interest to you.

4. Third Party Marketing

We will get your express opt-in consent before we share your personal data with any company for marketing purposes.

5. Opting Out

You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by using the opting out facility that appears on the email and/or contacting us or our privacy manager (full contact details in section 1 above).

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our site. A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we store on your browser or the hard drive of your computer if you agree. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when websites set or access cookies. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of our website may become inaccessible or not function properly.

7. How we share your personal data

We will not share your personal data with external third parties other than in respect of our prospective licensed teachers in respect of whom a third party is / will be instructed to process a DBS check for you.

8. International transfers

We will not transfer, store and process your personal data outside the European Economic Area.

9. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to the Partners of Blossom Yoga and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

10. Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. By law we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.

11. Your legal rights

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data including the right to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk).
