Where do the courses take place?

What is the cost for each course?
£600.00 per course.

What are the times for each day?
- 9.30am to 5.30pm on Day 1
- 9.00am to 5.30pm on Day 2
- 9.00am to 5.00pm on Day 3
There will be a short break in the morning and afternoon and a 30 minute break for lunch. You can help yourself to tea and coffee at the venue and light refreshments but we ask that you bring your own lunch each day.
Half days on Saturdays are from 1.30pm to 6.00pm (N.B. Some morning attendance will be required to observe classes and teach. Course attendees will also have the option to take part in the Teen Buds class from 12.00pm to 1.00pm).

Payment of £60.00 in the form of cash or cheque to process your Disclosure and Barring Service check. You will be given an application pack to complete on receipt of your money. Please ask Blossom Yoga for further details if you are unsure about this.
We ask that you buy two books for the Blossom Yoga Lil’ Buds course:
'The Three Little Pigs' by Nick Sharratt and Stephen Tucker,
'Little Red Riding Hood' by Nick Sharratt.
These are available from Amazon.
We ask that you buy the following for the Blossom Yoga Big Buds course:
'The Yoga Bible' by Christina Brown,
'Dynamic Yoga' by Godfrey Devereux,
'The New Book' of Yoga by The Sivananda Yoga Centre,
'Jivamukti Yoga' by Sharon Gannon and David Life.
What should I wear?
Tracksuit bottoms or leggings and a t-shirt.
Do I need my yoga mat?
No. Yoga mats are provided.

There are a number of local hotels and bed and breakfasts. We recommend the following:

Is the course venue near to the train station?
Yes. It is 2 miles away and will take about five minutes in a taxi or around 20 minutes walking.
Does Blossom Yoga carry out DBS checks on its teachers?
Yes. You will need to bring £60.00 in the form of cash or cheque to process your Disclosure and Barring Service check. You will be given an application pack to complete on receipt of your money. Please ask Blossom Yoga for further details if you are unsure about this.
Why do I have to sign a License Agreement?
All our teachers have to sign a License Agreement and this is renewed each year. The License Agreement gives our teachers the right to use the Blossom Yoga name and materials. It also protects Blossom Yoga from misuse of its name, logo and materials.
Is there a membership fee for Blossom Yoga teachers?
Yes there is a membership fee of £60.00 per annum per Buds level. This fee is included in the price of your course for the first year. As part of the fee Blossom Yoga teachers have their classes featured on the Blossom Yoga website and receive support from Blossom Yoga.
What Continued Professional Development (CDP) is in place?
There is a total of 2 hours CPD per year for each Buds level (Lil’ Buds and Big Buds).
These hours can be gained on specific Saturdays in the year during term time at our Blossom Yoga School in Leicester (Leicester High School, 454 London Road, Leicester, LE2 2PP). Our teachers attend the relevant Buds level class on the timetabled Saturday and then participate in a one hour teacher training session.
The 2 required annual CPD points can also be gained by attending another Buds level course.
